Visit to  the historical centre of Volterra : a city encircled by impressive historic walls, a true jewel of etruscan, roman, medieval and renaissance art. The city celebrates the extraction and crafting of alabaster. Lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, visit to San Gimignano: the historic centre is a Unesco World Heritage Site. The city is famous throughout the world for it’s 15 towers, originally 72 towers and tower-houses, and it’s numerous historical monuments. There will be an opportunity to taste the famous Vernaccia DOCG,  white wine produced in the surrounding countryside since the 11th century.
